Eric Seaburg is an illustrator, storyteller and author specializing in narrative illustration for publishing, fiction and children’s books. His work includes book covers, interior illustrations, and picture books, with an emphasis on characters and storytelling. He holds an MFA in illustration from Academy of Art University and a BFA in illustration from Paier College of Art.

His work has been recognized by The Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, the AAU Spring Show and Creative Quarterly. Over the years, Eric has created illustration and design work for publishers, independent authors and other clients, including Blue Note Publications. His professional background also includes work in publishing and design giving him experience not only as an illustrator but in the production side of bringing visual work to print.

He is the author and illustrator of the children’s book Mildred and the Pony, a story about a spirited little girl named Mildred and her quest to find her elusive pony. Mildred and the Pony is available now at bluenotepress.com or wherever books are sold. He has also illustrated books and covers for authors across a variety of genres.

Eric is a longtime US Army service member and combat veteran, so he brings firsthand knowledge to military and historical subjects. He has illustrated military historical fiction and other military themed work for authors.

Eric currently resides in Sacramento, California with his wife and dog. When he’s not illustrating, he enjoys spending time outdoors, walking his dog and good food. He continues to develop new book projects and is always open to working with new clients. Feel free to reach out.
